Description
Pineapple as an exotic fruit is not a dried fruit as such. Instead, we are talking about “dehydrated fruits”, which are preserved with sugar. This gives the fruit a very intense colour and flavour.
The pineapple is native to South America but is now at home all over the world.
Only the heart of the pineapple is used for our dried pineapple cubes. It is discarded when the pineapple is freshly processed. Cane sugar makes the centre a high-quality, sensory product. The herbal tea industry likes to use them, and pineapple centres are also excellent for muesli mixtures and muesli bars.
