Description

Cashew nuts come from the cashew tree, which grow in a tropical climate. The largest producer is Vietnam with 2660 million tons produced per year. Other producing countries are India, Indonesia, Brazil, the Ivory Coast and the Philippines.

Cashews kernels are often sold as a snack product, but they are also used in industrial applications. They are especially popular in combination with or as a substitute for peanuts and walnuts. Walnuts or Brazil nuts have an intense taste, whereas cashews have a fine, nutty flavour.

We offer the cashew as whole fruit with a medium grade (320s), as well as broken cashews for industrial applications. Our cashews preferably come from Vietnam.
