Description

The mango tree (mangifera indica) is native to East Asia. It is currently cultivated worldwide in the tropics – mainly for the fresh fruit trade and the canning industry. The size of the mango fruit varies greatly. We offer both sliced mango and diced mango.

The fruit is cultivated on plantations. The mango is known for its very juicy and intense tasting flesh. Before the drying process, it is soaked in syrup, consisting of cane sugar and citric acid, and then dried with hot air. The dried mango is cut and dried again directly before packaging. These processes already take place at the origin. In addition to the sugar-coated mangoes, we can also offer you a more natural version, dried mango slices without added sugar. This variant is especially suitable for gourmets or for chocolate.

Furthermore, we have recently started using organic mango (natural BIO quality) from Bukina Faso. This is the pure fruit that has been dried in the sun. The dried organic mango is cut in our factory with the addition of organic rice flour.

Mango paste is another available product. We source this from Ecuador using pure mangoes. This product is perfect for making energy balls or muesli bars. The paste can also be combined with other fruit pastes to create different flavours. The product is made by pressing the dried fruit. The mango is completely free of additives and thus remains 100% natural. Upon request, organic dried mangos are also available.
