2. Website provision and server logs
When you access this website, our hosting provider processes technically necessary log data. This may include the IP address, date and time of access, requested file or URL, amount of data transferred, HTTP status, referring page, browser, operating system and similar technical information. The processing serves the secure and reliable operation of the website, defence against attacks and error analysis. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete or anonymise this data once it is no longer required for these purposes.

If you contact us using a contact form, email, telephone or another channel, we process the information you provide in order to handle and respond to your enquiry. Where an enquiry relates to initiating or performing a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; otherwise, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. 4. Newsletter

For this purpose, we process at least your email address and any further details you choose to provide in order to send information about rovocad, products and market topics. We use Mailchimp, a service of The Rocket Science Group LLC, USA, to send newsletters. Mailchimp processes the data on our behalf. Data may be transferred to the United States. Further information is available in Mailchimp’s Data Processing Addendum and its information on European data transfers.
5. Consent, cookies and similar technologies
We use a consent tool to save and manage your choices concerning optional services. Technically necessary information is processed so that your choice can be respected. The legal basis is Section 25(2) TDDDG and, where personal data is concerned, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Optional services are activated only after your consent; the legal basis is then Section 25(1) TDDDG and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may change or withdraw your choice at any time through the consent settings.
